Don’t Quit

DON’T QUIT

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

Life is strange with its twists and its turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When they might have won, had they stuck it out,
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow,
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor’s cup;
And he learned too late when the night came down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit,
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit!

Hello world!

“AH!!!” WEDDINGS

Wedding Officiants have opportunity to participate in and observe a lot of weddings, with many different tones in many different settings. There is no written or unwritten standard by which weddings should be judged, or to which they must conform. On the contrary, much to be desired is the variety that couples are building in modern weddings, variety spurred by their own unique relationships and personalities. There is artistry in taking the colours of a couple and painting them into the palate of their venue in such a way that the wedding becomes an “AH!!!!” moment for all who attend, and leaves bride and groom and everybody present with indelible recollections of a ceremony that spoke volumes about a unique relationship being launched into a higher dimension of intimacy, delight and trust.
