(Announcement here re. bride not taking grooms name)

Love Forever, Like for Always

Is there one of her family who is prepared to present _(Bride)_ to _(Groom)_?  /  I do. / Her Mom and I do.

Welcome family and friends on this beautiful / wonderful day. We are here this day to celebrate and bless the wedding of _(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_. They would like to thank each of you for making the journey to be with them today as they celebrate their marriage. Each of you has touched their lives in a special way, and they are honoured to have you present today.

As _(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_ enter into marriage, they do so with thoughtfulness and reverence. They give thanks for the past, which has brought them to this place, and look forward with hope for what the future will bring.

_(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_, I welcome you to this moment in your lives and to the place you have come to in each other’s hearts. I join with you on this day, in the uniting of your two souls already attuned to one another.

But first I am required to ask anyone present who knows a reason why these persons may not lawfully marry, to declare it now. And if either of you knows a reason why you may not lawfully marry, you must declare it now.

Please pass you bouquet to your maid of honour? Please face each other and join hands?

_(Groom)_, would you please turn toward _(Bride)_, take her hands in yours, look deep into her eyes, and share with her your vows?

There was darkness for a long time
and now there is light,
and that light is you.
Your love, _(Bride)_ gives me true happiness .
I pledge before our family and friends
to be your husband
from this day forward.
I will love you forever,
I will like you for always,
as long as I’m living
your husband I will be.

_(Bride)_ , would you please look deep into _(Groom)_’s  eyes, and share with him your vows?

_(Groom)_, I have wanted my whole life
to have someone
as wonderful as you
to love and respect me
the way you do.
I give myself to you as your wife,
and I promise to treasure,
for all of my days,
the love we celebrate today.
I will love you forever,
I will like you for always,
as long as I’m living
your wife I will be.

May I have the rings please?

_(Groom)_ , as you place your ring on _(Bride)_ ‘s ring finger please repeat your commitment to _(Bride)_ ?

With this ring,
I thee wed.
Let it ever be to us
a symbol of our love.

_(Bride)_ , as you place your ring on _(Groom)_ ‘s ring finger please repeat your commitment to _(Groom)_?

With this ring,
I thee wed.
Let it ever be to us
a symbol of our love.

For as much as you _(Groom)_ and you _(Bride)_ have pledged your faithfulness to each other in the presence of this company; and have confirmed the same by the joining of hands and the giving and receiving of rings; now therefore, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Province of Ontario, I pronounce you husband and wife. Let all others honor your decision and the threshold of your home.

You may kiss your bride.

_(Bride)_ and _(Groom)_ have agreed that _(Bride)_ will not change her name, which, of course, is ——- . But, for tonight, I have been given a special dispensation to introduce them in symbol of their marital unity.

It gives me great delight, therefore, to introduce to you for the first time Mr and Mrs —– .
